Delphine Roche – Flute

After completing her studies at the Conservatoire in Paris, Delphine Roche completed her artistic education at the University of Music Freiburg under Prof. Felix Renggli with honors.

With great enthusiasm for both New Music and Early Music, she led her studies

at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts Frankfurt with Prof. Karl Kaiser (Historical Interpretation Practice / Traversing Flute) and the International Ensemble Modern Academy 2010-2011.

As a versatile dedicated musician she performs with various ochesters and ensembles, including the Ensemble Modern, the Museum Orchestra of the Frankfurt Opera, the Württemberg Chamber Orchestra, the Oh ton Ensemble, the Genova Camerata, the Heidelberg Symphony Orchestra.

She was u.a. at the Schleswig Holstein Festival, the Rheingau Festival, the Lucerne Festival, the Ruhrtriennale, the Schwetzinger Festspiele, at the Tong Yeong International Festival (South Korea), at Musiekzomer Gelderland (Holland), Slowind Festival (Slovenia), 180 Degrees Festival (Bulgaria) to listen.

The flutist played under the direction of P. Boulez, J. Kalitzke, M. Pintscher, P. Maccreesh, P. Müllejans, G. van der Goltz, M. Seiler.

She has worked with composers such as H. Lachenmann, H. Goebbels, M. Pintscher, H. Holliger, M. André, V.Globokar.

In addition, she was a soloist u.a. at the Prometeo by L. Nono with the Darmstädter Theater, and at the Tempi concertati by L. Berio under the direction of Mathias Pintscher.

In addition, Delphine Roche collaborates with artists from other disciplines on interdisciplinary projects that combine music, dance, circus, film, theater and sound design.

She has participated in several CD (Naxos, Spektral, cpo and Ars Production) and radio recordings for the BR, SWR, HR, NPO Radio 4 (NL) and France Musique, Arte.

Delphine Roche has been teaching at the Dr Hochs Conservatory in Frankfurt since October 2018.

In addition to teaching at the Dr Hochs Conservatory, she takes on workshops for transverse flute and contemporary music at the 180 ° Festival in Sofia

Delphine Roche regularly gives improvisational-experimental music workshops and more. from the Filmmuseum, from the Free Art Academy.

With great enthusiasm, she also works since 2016 for the “Education Projects” by Ensemble Moderne.
